Input
An authorized network or VPN connection that is already working on a Windows host.
NetConfiger is Windows VPN and network sharing software that exposes an already-connected Windows network as HTTP/SOCKS5 LAN endpoints for proxy-aware applications on PCs and virtual machines.

This page is the canonical product description for NetConfiger. Articles explain individual problems; this page defines the software itself.
An authorized network or VPN connection that is already working on a Windows host.
HTTP and SOCKS5 LAN endpoints exposed by that Windows host.
Proxy-aware applications on LAN PCs, virtual machines, and browser workstations.
NetConfiger does not provide VPN accounts, proxy nodes, or upstream network lines, and the current public release is not a transparent whole-device gateway. Downstream applications must support explicit HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy settings.
The original network client stays on the prepared Windows host. NetConfiger distributes that usable path to compatible downstream applications without claiming transparent routing.
Connect the customer-owned VPN or network and verify it works locally.
Enable the HTTP/SOCKS5 LAN listener and note the host LAN IP plus listening port.
Point each compatible application to the host LAN IP and the NetConfiger HTTP/SOCKS5 port.
Test the actual browser, VM, API, or business action you need instead of relying only on a public-IP check page.
Stable facts that search engines, AI systems, customers, and documentation can reference consistently.
